Debbani Ghosh
CEO
Debbani’s role in ABA
Debbani is ABA’S CEO , she has been with us since 2006. Starting from a project coordinator, all the way up to the organisations CEO. As CEO she is responsible for the effective leadership and management of the charity. Debbani ensures that the service user’s needs are met. Under her direction ABA has expanded massively. from a humble self-help group to a mainstream non-profit organisation now delivering a wide range of services.
Nasreen Hanif
Business Development Manager
Nasreen’s role in ABA
Nasreen is ABA’S Business Development Manager. She supports the team’s well-being and empowers it through a robust framework of HR policies and processes. She enables the sustainability of the organisation through developing opportunities, to include the formalisation of enhanced partnership and consortium working. She works collaboratively with colleagues, playing a leading role coordinating the day-to-day operations of the organisation’s service delivery. She is currently working on funding applications.
Farida Ali Nani
Community Engagement Coordinator
Farida’s role in ABA
Farida is the Community Engagement Coordinator; she has an MA in public health and over 3 years experience in community engagement. Her responsibilities include;
– Raising awareness & providing training for good eye care in the diverse communities
– Running events
-Liaising with local authorities & professional to establish referral
– Establishing accessible and affordable connections to meet the needs of the communities.
Rashida Tariq
Careers Coordinator
Rashida’s role in ABA
Rashida is ABA’S Mental Health Carers Coordinator, she plays a key role in the AASRA project, a group set up with the purpose of ensuring that cares in diverse communities get access to the support they need. she understands the challenges cares face and the importance of acknowledging their efforts.
Pooja Lal
Support Worker
Pooja’s role in ABA
Pooja is one of our dedicated support workers, she runs the Sahara project on Tuesdays at the BME hub centre, which focuses on supporting the partially and fully visually impaired members of diverse communities.
She conducts the activities and workshops for the service users and ensures’ they are getting the proper support required.
Shraddha Parab
Support Worker
Shraddha’s role in ABA
Shraddha is one of our dedicated support workers. on Mondays she leads the Roshni project at Mary Sunley. Her group provides a wide range of support to our service users as well as workshops and activities. with a finance background and fluency in various South Asian languages she effortlessly engages with our diverse community.
Avinash Kour
Support Worker
Avinash’s role in ABA.
Avinash is one of our dedicated support workers, she runs the Roshni project on Thursdays at Muir Court. With an extensive past in customer satisfaction , Avinash was driven to apply for the support worker role. She’s impressively multilingual which makes her an optimal candidate for the diverse communities we accommodate.
