Project Sahara – The Support group

Project Sahara- is a recently launched group funded by BID- Leeds Hearing and sight Loss Services. The name is borrowed from Hindi dictionary – Sahara-and is associated with the meaning of comfort, or encouragement, give assistance.

Under this project we do 2 drop-in sessions every week on a Tuesdays and Thursdays in Leeds areas.
Tuesdays- BAME Community Hub Reginald Terrace, Leeds LS7 3E – 11:00 am-14:00 pm
Thursdays- MOORALLERTON LIBRARY Moor Allerton Centre, King Lane, Leeds LS17 5NY - 11:00 am-14:00 pm

Both of these drop-ins will run every week for service users to access trainings, information sessions, activities, advocacy and one-to one support about accessing services.
